Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Fans' Second Season Bingo Cards — With Some Positive Updates

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel launches on Prime Video soon, and fan speculation has been rampant.

The first season presents a diverse group of characters living within Hell and Heaven, sets them at odds with musical numbers detailing their conflicts, and builds tense rivalries and angsty, affectionate connections that drive audience devotion.

The fandom's stated hopes for the new season vary widely, but certain themes recur frequently: Will a fan-favorite character escape his tormentor? Will we find out more about the mysterious "deal" constraining Alastor the Radio Demon? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Naturally, I don't make the show with fan service as the main goal," the creator commented earlier this year. "However I feel like me being a fan of my own show means there's a lot of it just naturally. I also am eager for these things, and I hope some of these things to occur, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator reveals her long-term vision is for a five-season run of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have received approval by the production companies, which finance the series.

That might mean fans have to be patient for some of the biggest payoffs — but they may be surprised at how quickly season 2 moves, and how many of what they're anticipating happens now.

"I believe people are going to be highly satisfied," she adds. "We get some firsts. I think we receive some really amazing disclosures, some really cool backstories, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience additional musical numbers from the previously silent cast members."

The creator is well-informed of the theories and desires about the upcoming season — especially in the form of audience prediction charts.

"I've come across a couple people create a bingo card about the new season," she mentions. "Naturally I won't share it, but I've already completed some of them, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season premieres on Prime Video on October 29.
